Stress causes a person to lose sleep, and when you are fatigued, your body becomes more perceptible to illnesses such as common colds. Not only is it common for stress to cause this and other numerous illnesses, but heart attacks as well, one of the contributors to heart attacks is the level of stress a person has. A person should look at these and other symptoms as a sign, it is your body telling you to slow down, our bodies are not built to take on exuberant amounts of stress. Meditation is essential to getting your stress under control and prevents these potential illnesses and injuries.
